Weblog of the Proto Digi-Chick

I am originally from Canada but I am now living in Rochester, NY. I work at the University of Rochester River Campus Libraries as a library assistant in the Reference Department. I am also a graduate student in the dual-degree program of the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University. In 2010, I will graduate with two Master’s degrees, one in Library & Information Science and the other in Information Management. I will also have Certificate of Advanced Study in Digital Libraries.

I am interested in the development of technologies for digitization, designing and managing information systems, and human-computer interaction. I am also interested in establishing a robust “online presence” that integrates as much as possible all the different hosted services that I use. This, as with many other areas of my life, is a work in progress.
